Course Description:
The Sting Orchestra classes at Chula Vista Middle School and Chula Vista High School encompass begining through advanced level ensembles. Each class emphasizes develoment of technical and musical skills on violin, viola, celo, and string bass. Students study orchestral as well as chamber music repertoire.

BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA
This class provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of violin, viola, cello or bass. It is intended for complete beginners as well as intermediate level players who want to refine their skills for higher level performance.
ADVANCED ORCHESTRA
This class provides opportunities for performance of advanced level orchestral repertoire and for learning the necessary professional skills that will carry the performer to the next level.
