CERAMICS
We are embarking upon a journey with clay. Ceramics has been my personal
area of interest for at least ten years now, and I am very excited to have
the opportunity to guide you on your journey. Throughout this course we
will explore methods of hand-building with clay, wheel-thrown ceramics,
and glazing techniques. Incorporated into everything we learn will be the
elements and principles of design (they are on the bulletin board) so it
will benefit you to become familiar with them right away. I want you to
enjoy your time in our studio and I want you all to become creative and
productive potters. In order to do this we must all adhere to the basic
classroom rules.
